Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen - Schaarbeekse Kriek (6.5%) 75clA very special bottling from 3 Fonteinen which is essentially their own brewed lambic macerated with Schaarbeekse cherries, a variety that is now very scarce in Belgium, but traditionally was the most prized for Kriek production. The brewery has now planted a field of trees behind the main building and will also go to harvest from local residents who have the trees in their gardens in exchange for beer. The cherries were macerated for a whole year
