Specification for surgical elastic band trusses1 Scope This British Standard specifies the materials used in the manufacture of component parts of surgical elastic band trusses, together with such dimensions as are independent of the individual clinical requirements. Provision is made for inguinal and scrotal elastic band trusses with fixed pads or adjustable pads (excluding sliding pads).
