Georgian Mourning Band with PearlsThe Story: Straight from my personal collection! 18K gold with four well matched natural pearls (to symbolize tears) and black enamel surround. Gothic In Memory Of script around the band in very good condition, with very minor losses to the back of the enamel. 18k Millgrain detail around edges. Dedication reads Elizabeth Botting, OB 12 Aug 1823 at 63. The Details: Full crisp hallmarks for 18K gold, London, 1823; makers mark JS for Joseph Savory. Size:
