Paw Paw SeedsPaw Paw are easy and fun to grow from seed. The most important thing to know with paw paw seed is that the seeds will die if allowed to fully dry out. It is best to store them slightly moist outdoors or in a refrigerator. They do require cold stratification to germinate. In zone 7 and warmer fall planting of paw paw seed works well. Hazelnut can be used to make a fast growing and food producing windbreak

Buzz has planted many chestnuts on his farm

I was disappointed

Its much more intense and complex than bland grocery store English walnuts

And of course they can be used in various crafts such as basket weaving

I will note that fresh english walnuts from high quality trees do taste pretty good

We have not worked with the acorns extensively but some folks report good success using them for flour and oil production
