Akebono TealIn Japanese Akebono means dawn and after seeing these delicate, handmade translucent kozo papers you will understand why. Soft wisps of variegated kozo are added to a finer pulp to create a texture and colour reminiscent of a morning sky. A father and son make our Akebono papers in the traditional way in a small Japanese village. Washi is the word for traditional papers made by hand.
